Data Center Assessments
Data Center Systems Assessment – DCSA
The DCSA is a sophisticated mission critical facility assessment conducted by a team of engineers and data center specialists. The DCSA evaluates all systems that support the enterprise including:
- Electrical Distribution
- Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) & Power Conditioning
- Backup Electrical Generation Systems
- Mechanical Systems (HVAC, Precision Cooling)
- Cable Management Systems
- Raised Access Floor Systems
- Physical Security and Access Control
- Fire Suppression, Detection & Alarm
The DCSA delivers a detailed report on the health of a mission critical facility, offers recommendations for facility Improvements and provides remediation strategies for any systems deficiencies observed by the assessment team. Often the DCSA is the initial step in a multi-phase process to undertake facility expansion, correct data center issues or enhance facility capabilities.
Data Center Power Assessment - DCPA
Pergravis offers a Data Center Power Assessment to ensure essential electrical systems are operating safely and as ex-pected. Data Centers rely on the reliability and safety of their electrical equipment and systems to be operational. The assessment of these systems can identify potential problems before they are an emergency and allows for assessment of both the power and infrastructure components to make sure all systems are operating as expected.
Data Center Thermal Assessment – DCTA
The DCTA is a thermal assessment designed to identify thermal issues in mission critical facilities such as computer rooms and data centers. In addition to isolating thermal issues, the assessment catalogs any “Red Flag” items that present an immediate danger to continued enterprise operations or life safety of personnel. The DCTA offers a “Go/No Go” recommendation for the deployment of additional network equipment in the facility.
Data Center Environment Assessment- DCEA
The Data Center Environment Assessment (DCEA) evaluates an existing data center to help determine if appropriate cooling and power infrastructure is functioning as expected. The challenge of data center cooling becomes more complex and more critical as more processing power is packed into rack dense computing devices. Pergravis has the knowledge and experience to assess the environment and make recommendations to ensure the data center environment is functional.
Property Condition Assessments
The Data Center Environment Assessment (DCEA) evaluates an existing data center to help determine if appropriate cool-ing and power infrastructure is functioning as expected. The challenge of data center cooling becomes more complex and more critical as more processing power is packed into rack dense computing devices. Pergravis has the knowledge and experience to assess the environment and make recommendations to ensure the data center environment is functional.
